Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for embedded software products.
- Implement automated functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end test suites.
- Develop tools and infrastructure to improve test efficiency, automation coverage, and product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing and release readiness.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, systems, and QA engineers to improve test strategies.
- Analyze automated test results, investigate failures, and support root cause analysis.
- Maintain test environments, hardware setups, and automation infrastructure.
- Support hardware-in-the-loop, system-level, and device communication testing.
- Explore AI-assisted testing, process optimization, and other technical improvements.
- Build product and customer-workflow knowledge to validate business-critical features.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of professional experience in software test automation, quality engineering, software development, or related technical roles.
- Proven experience developing automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with PyTest, GoogleTest, Robot Framework, or similar testing technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms and automated build pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments and command-line tools.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect tracking, and quality assurance processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto-based systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with C, C++, Bash, scripting languages, and device communication protocols is preferred.
- Exposure to AI-assisted software development and testing tools is preferred.
