Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable test libraries for web applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Build automated functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, accessibility, cross-browser, performance, load, resiliency, reliability, and security validation solutions.
- Develop test strategies, apply risk-based testing, and embed shift-left quality practices throughout requirements, design, development, and delivery.
- Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines and improve testability, quality metrics, coding standards, and engineering effectiveness.
- Write production-quality code, participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, and troubleshoot complex defects and automation failures.
- Support production readiness through monitoring, observability, logging, dashboards, alerting, incident analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Use AI-assisted engineering and testing tools, evaluate emerging quality technologies, and champion engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in SDET, software engineering, test automation, or quality engineering roles.
- Strong software development experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks and using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Bruno.
- Experience with performance and resiliency testing using JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, or similar platforms.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, observability and monitoring platforms, cloud-native environments, and engineering productivity tools.
- Experience with AI-powered engineering tools, AI-assisted testing, prompt engineering, and workflow automation platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, continuous testing, and release automation practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, preferably with experience in financial services, regulated industries, AI-driven testing, contract testing, service virtualization, SRE principles, or internal engineering tools.
