Responsibilities
- Develop and design efficient, reusable, modular software code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and optimize vehicle diagnostic tools.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make architectural decisions.
- Create rapid proof-of-concepts for new features and software solutions.
- Drive progress in fluid project environments with evolving boundaries.
- Resolve technical blockers through engineering expertise and alignment negotiation.
Requirements
- A software engineering degree.
- 6 to 9 years of experience as a Vehicle Diagnostic Applications Engineer.
- Extensive hands-on experience with UDS and CAN protocols for vehicle diagnostics.
- Strong coding experience with Python or JavaScript, preferably Python.
- Experience implementing applications using concurrency and object-oriented programming principles.
- Strong proficiency designing and integrating systems with WebSockets and REST APIs.
- Practical experience with MySQL or MongoDB is preferred.
- Working knowledge of shell scripting is preferred.
- Familiarity with ReactJS or Flask is preferred.
- Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git, is preferred.
