Responsibilities
- Translate product and operational requirements into scalable technical designs, implementation plans, and testable acceptance criteria.
- Configure and extend Dynamics 365 Customer Service features including case management, queues, routing, SLAs, entitlements, knowledge, agent workspaces, Customer Voice, and Copilot-assisted experiences.
- Design Dataverse data models, model-driven applications, business rules, security roles, auditing, and related user experiences.
- Build Power Automate workflows, custom connectors, notifications, survey workflows, and exception handling.
- Develop pro-code extensions using C#, .NET, Dataverse plug-ins and custom APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Power Apps Component Framework.
- Implement secure integrations using Dataverse Web API, REST/OData, OAuth, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
- Build and validate migration and data pipelines for historical cases, activities, emails, attachments, reference data, and reporting feeds.
- Develop Power BI datasets and downstream reporting while preserving data-lake interfaces and SLA/CSAT metrics.
- Implement application lifecycle management with solutions, environment variables, connection references, source control, automated pipelines, managed deployments, and rollback procedures.
- Apply secure engineering practices, privacy and compliance controls, secret management, auditing, and production readiness reviews.
- Create automated and manual tests for functionality, integrations, regression, performance, resiliency, accessibility, migration reconciliation, and business UAT.
- Instrument services and workflows with telemetry, dashboards, alerts, correlation identifiers, failure handling, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience delivering enterprise applications with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, or comparable CRM or case-management platforms.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in API design, data modeling, asynchronous processing, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms with Azure or enterprise systems through secure and resilient interfaces.
- Experience planning or executing legacy data migration, reconciliation, and cutover for business-critical systems.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, operations, security, privacy, data, and reporting teams and document technical decisions.
- Preferred experience includes Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Contact Center, unified routing, Copilot Service, knowledge management, Teams integration, high-volume email-to-case operations, Azure integration services, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, and enterprise data lakes.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Azure development or integration, data engineering, or DevOps are helpful but not required.
- The position requires passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
