Base Salary
$210k - $295k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale a new Content Delivery Network (CDN) for Starlink.
- Build robust, responsive, and scalable distributed systems.
- Create tools for diagnosing, operating, and maintaining complex systems in real-time.
- Design algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization and cost efficiency.
- Implement systems to manage traffic across multiple CDNs.
- Lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develop prototypes and manage experiments for future design concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other STEM discipline AND 10+ years of software development experience, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Software development experience in C, C++, or Rust.
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems or designing and scaling CDN systems.
- 7+ years of professional networking experience.
