Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain C# automated tests for APIs, services, data pipelines, risk modeling, and custom data and risk feeds.
- Build Playwright end-to-end and UI automation for interactive risk-modeling and data-visualization interfaces across web and mobile.
- Create and own test frameworks, reusable libraries, and test data, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate data quality, entitlement and permissioning, and personalization across products.
- Use AI tooling to accelerate test creation, coverage analysis, and maintenance.
- Partner with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria, review coverage, and embed quality early in development.
- Triage test failures, document defects with clear reproduction steps, and support root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to regression, performance, reliability, mobile, API, and streaming-data testing.
- Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on test automation experience with C# coding skills.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or comparable modern UI and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
- Experience automating API, service, and integration tests, including REST and ideally streaming or gRPC testing.
- Experience writing maintainable code and building and owning test frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases for data validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to edge cases.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and fluent spoken and written English.
- Interest in AI-assisted testing and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Preferred experience includes testing financial, trading, risk, data-heavy, streaming, charting, or visualization products.
- Preferred qualifications include performance or load testing, observability, mobile test automation, BDD or contract testing, and AI-assisted testing and coding tools.
