Responsibilities

  • Work four 10-hour night-shift days from Tuesday night through Saturday morning, approximately 10 PM to 9 AM U.S. Pacific Time.
  • Deploy, manage, and secure Ivanti’s production SaaS environments in AWS and Azure.
  • Automate common and repetitive operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations for incident response, issue triage, and problem resolution.
  • Troubleshoot code, application servers, databases, load balancers, operating systems, networks, and storage infrastructure.
  • Write documentation and training materials and train colleagues.
  • Collaborate with geographically dispersed, cross-departmental teams and partner with Product Engineering, Security, and Support.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and domestic U.S. location are required.
  • BSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or 2+ years with an achieved BSc in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Proficiency with Python and experience with Java, Golang, or C#.
  • Programmatic proficiency with Bash or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Experience troubleshooting Java and .NET applications, network and storage infrastructure, Linux distributions, and Windows.
  • Experience with one or more of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or a similar technology.
  • Ability to configure and fine-tune HAProxy, Apache, Nginx, IIS, or a similar tool.
  • Ability to configure New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, or similar monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration technologies, preferably AWS EKS or Azure AKS.
  • Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and/or GitHub Actions deployment pipelines.
  • Proficiency developing and working with Infrastructure as Code.
