Foundations Engineer (Agents, SF In Office)

Responsibilities
- Design and independently implement scalable systems end to end while defining and understanding requirements and writing clean code
- Build intelligent, agentic workflows across the AI-driven product development lifecycle
- Train and evaluate models and integrate them into user-facing systems
- Design multi-step workflows and apply LLM research in production
- Drive experimentation and evaluation loops for AI-powered features
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product and AI teams, and customers to understand needs and ship solutions
- Operate systems reliably with minimal downtime or customer impact
- Deliver product improvements in a fast-paced environment with weekly deliverables
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of work experience
- Experience building and scaling platform systems is a plus
- Proficiency with Python, Flask, and AWS
- Understanding of LLM models or deep understanding of services across multiple clouds is a plus
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
