Responsibilities
- Configure and implement digital branding standards in the VeriChannel frontend architecture for online and mobile banking.
- Develop and optimize responsive layouts, CSS components, and typography for cross-channel experiences.
- Translate UX designs into accessible interfaces meeting WCAG AA and AODA guidelines.
- Bind frontend components to backend RESTful APIs and microservices through the VeriLink integration layer.
- Collaborate with UX Designers and Senior .NET Integration Developers.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, code deployment, and pull requests.
Requirements
- 5+ years of senior-level experience in modern frontend web development.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Demonstrated experience building responsive, cross-platform experiences for web browsers and mobile devices.
- Strong understanding of consuming and binding frontend components to RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on knowledge of WCAG and AODA accessibility guidelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps.
- Preferred experience configuring or customizing the VeriPark VeriChannel digital banking platform.
- Preferred experience modernizing legacy platforms in the Canadian credit union or financial services sector.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and .NET backend integration.
