Base Salary
$82k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead or support a small team of developers and researchers implementing AI/ML solutions for computer vision and remote sensing.
- Analyze and preprocess large remote sensing datasets.
- Research supervised and unsupervised automatic target recognition solutions.
- Research multimodal data fusion for automatic target recognition across diverse collection scenarios.
- Train, optimize, and deploy deep learning computer vision models that provide actionable insights.
- Review technical publications, communicate key concepts to government customers, and apply findings to defense and commercial applications.
- Write technical documentation for code, program capabilities, and user guides.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI government security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of computer vision AI/ML development experience.
- Proficiency with Python and machine learning libraries including PyTorch, Lightning, OpenCV, NumPy, or Polars.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Experience with Python machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch Lightning, scikit-learn, scikit-image, or OpenCV.
- Experience training convolutional-based models such as YOLOv3-11 or YOLOX, or transformer-based computer vision models such as Vision Transformer or Swin.
- Preferred: master's or PhD in machine learning, computer science, computer vision, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with self-supervised learning, student-teacher approaches, DINO, knowledge distillation, or BYOL.
- Preferred: experience with image segmentation, super resolution, image denoising, image restoration, multi-INT fusion, graph convolutional networks, tracking and fusion, or pattern-of-life algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with SAR, EO, or OPIR image-processing chains and overhead imagery datasets.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS computing resources and experience with version control, Linux, application deployment, virtualization, and containerization.
