Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build and maintain intuitive, performant frontend applications.
- Own projects end-to-end from architecture through deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and implement features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Participate in design and code reviews and improve engineering quality.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and ensure system reliability.
- Improve engineering processes, tools, and team practices.
- Provide technical guidance to peers and contribute to technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, or TypeScript.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Ability to own complex projects and deliver them end-to-end.
- Strong software engineering, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or AI/ML concepts and technologies such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Supervised Fine-Tuning, and vector databases is preferred.
- Experience in an early-stage startup environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Data Engineer are preferred.
