Responsibilities

Develop new Market Risk applications and enhance existing applications.
Collaborate with a global Agile squad across Montreal, Budapest, India, London, and New York.
Work with business partners to deliver software solutions supporting business needs.
Shape the Risk Management tooling and technology landscape, including tools that improve business processes and support regulatory obligations.
Build and maintain distributed data processing solutions and incorporate unit testing into system design.

At least 6 years of relevant experience is generally expected.
Hands-on experience with server-side Core Java, Spring, and relational database management systems.
Experience with distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark, Hive, Python, and other tools and languages.
Strong object-oriented design and development skills, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Understanding of multithreaded application development and hands-on experience with concurrency packages.
Experience incorporating unit test cases using JUnit.
Ability to write Shell, Perl, or Python scripts.
Agile development experience.
