Responsibilities
- Design, document, implement, and test software and firmware for complex electronic and electromechanical systems.
- Assist with the design, assembly, integration, and testing of embedded firmware, electronic assemblies, and systems.
- Work with hardware, firmware, and software architecture, interfacing, and communications.
- Identify risks and formulate mitigation strategies and plans.
- Develop system and test scripting and automation.
- Support ongoing laboratory and military programs in a dynamic product development environment.
Requirements
- ABET-accredited degree or BS in a technical field.
- At least 5 years of related technical experience.
- Experience with managed and unmanaged languages including C, C++, .NET, Python, Perl, Tcl, Java, Android, and iOS.
- Familiarity with schematics and digital and analog circuit design.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Preferred experience with modern revision control tools, high-speed serial communications, development and test scripting and automation, software reverse-engineering tools, DSP, microcontroller and embedded development, and electrical design and analysis tools.
