Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and execute complex modeling and simulation software for Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems.
- Serve as Lead Developer in a Modeling and Simulation Laboratory and lead the software team.
- Develop and integrate Modeling and Simulation and virtual-representation prototypes.
- Integrate products into existing Joint Service Programs of Record.
- Develop software requirements supporting system integration and live test events.
- Develop and analyze mission-effectiveness metrics.
- Support mission engineering analyses, testing activities, and customer-facing technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least 20 years of experience in software design, development, and testing.
- Experience with Python scripting, embedded software development, and JIRA.
- Experience supporting analysis and testing activities.
- Experience with Agile-based systems engineering sprint planning and tasking.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A BS or MS in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required upon hire, with the ability to maintain it during employment.
- Familiarity with the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) is preferred.
