Base Salary
$145k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and services.
- Develop readable, maintainable, and secure software and support legacy applications.
- Troubleshoot application defects and production issues, review code, and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional team members to clarify requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in planning, code reviews, testing, and software releases.
- Complete A&A activities including risk assessments, vulnerability management, security control testing, and preparation of authorization packages.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years focused on security engineering and A&A processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in an object-oriented language such as C#, Java, Kotlin, or C++.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, enterprise applications, source control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with relational databases, web services, or application integrations.
- Knowledge of A&A processes, including identifying and addressing security incidents and compliance issues.
- TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Desired qualifications include C# and .NET experience; PowerShell or another scripting language; web APIs, Windows services, desktop applications, or web applications; Microsoft Windows and IIS; Jenkins pipelines and automated deployments; AWS and Azure; GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Confluence; secure software development; Agile methods; and AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled application capabilities.
