Responsibilities
- Understand business processes and build appropriate software solutions.
- Design and develop end-to-end distributed systems in the cloud.
- Build software using the Java technology stack.
- Build libraries and tools for the microservices ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain event-driven systems and scalable, resilient software.
- Participate in code reviews, team knowledge sharing, and documentation maintenance.
- Contribute suggestions to improve processes and ways of working.
Requirements
- Development experience with Java.
- Familiarity with Spring or another comparable application development framework.
- Several years of experience in sophisticated technology environments, including cloud-native applications and scalability challenges.
- Experience designing distributed systems or working with microservices architectures.
- Experience working with AWS or a similar cloud provider.
- Understanding of event-driven platforms, publish-subscribe systems, and messaging brokers such as Kafka, NSQ, or RabbitMQ.
- Product-oriented mindset, attention to detail, critical thinking, and openness to giving and receiving feedback.
