Base Salary
$107k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment workflows using orchestration tools and scripting languages.
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux/Unix compute instances across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
- Deploy and scale cloud workloads while supporting high availability and fault tolerance.
- Investigate application performance and infrastructure scaling limits for peak traffic events.
- Develop modular Infrastructure as Code and maintain reproducible environment state models.
- Monitor and troubleshoot relational databases, storage architectures, and data flows.
- Configure and manage Content Delivery Networks for media delivery and caching.
- Maintain system documentation and architectural diagrams.
- Participate in a shared engineering on-call rotation to resolve production incidents.
Requirements
- Two to three years of professional experience in a DevOps, systems engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience.
- Strong hands-on Linux/Unix system administration experience.
- Hands-on automation scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar administrative scripting tools.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code principles, cloud orchestration, virtualization, and containerization.
- Basic understanding of relational database administration, storage technologies, and CDN concepts.
- Eligibility and willingness to participate in scheduled on-call support.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with infrastructure monitoring and application performance management tools and large-scale on-premises-to-cloud migrations.
