Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
Define cloud technology direction and lead large, complex, cross-functional technology projects from concept through delivery.
Configure and administer virtual networks, virtual machines, web application hosting, and cloud-native networking services.
Author, manage, and scale Terraform infrastructure-as-code across multi-cloud production environments.
Design and operate AKS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, container registries, serverless container services, and microservices platforms.
Implement container security, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, image promotion workflows, scaling, and capacity planning.
Support CI/CD integration, cloud monitoring, logging, metrics, distributed tracing, alerting, and operational processes.
Design and support enterprise AI platforms and AI-powered applications across Azure and AWS.
Create cloud security strategies, policies, audit documentation, InfoSec deliverables, and regulatory compliance controls.
Provide technical support, lead root cause analysis for critical incidents, implement permanent solutions, and mentor less experienced team members.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years as a cloud or infrastructure engineer in production environments.
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting production cloud solutions in Azure and AWS; GCP experience is preferred.
Deep expertise in cloud compute, networking, storage, identity/IAM, security, managed Kubernetes, and data platform services.
Strong Linux and Windows system administration experience and expertise with large-scale cloud networking and security concepts.
Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS and/or EKS, Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, and multi-cloud environments.
Multi-year hands-on AI experience with Claude, ChatGPT, AI platforms, and AI-powered applications.
Experience with AI-assisted development platforms such as Claude Code, Replit, Vercel, or similar tools.
Experience defining cloud monitoring, alerting, infrastructure management, architecture documentation, and InfoSec/audit deliverables.
Ability to lead complex projects independently and collaborate effectively across large cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications include Azure or AWS certifications, Azure Bicep, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, MS SQL Server, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Datadog, and Insurance or Financial Services experience.

Remote U.S. work arrangement.
Individual-contributor role reporting to the VP of Technology Services.
