Responsibilities

Design and develop a highly available, scalable, and secure ClickHouse Cloud platform.
Build innovative deployment automation across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem systems.
Collaborate with Dataplane and Core teams to ensure software parity.
Solve scaling, reliability, and performance challenges in regulated environments.
Design and deploy ClickHouse Cloud on Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Develop and maintain Helm charts, operators, and Kubernetes manifests.
Implement automation for infrastructure components across diverse deployment models.
Optimize ClickHouse Cloud database performance and storage architecture.
Integrate secure authentication, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for system architecture and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, security, and operational issues.
Automate deployments and lifecycle management using Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines.

6+ years of relevant software development experience in scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
Experience with ClickHouse or relational and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency with Kubernetes tools and containerized deployments.
Experience in secure, regulated, or restricted network environments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Go or Python.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and production debugging capabilities.
Passion for efficiency, availability, scalability, and data governance.
High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
