Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, develop solution strategies, and ensure integration with business objectives.
- Develop distributed systems and microservices using Java and AWS cloud services.
- Implement infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, secure coding, unit testing, and automated testing practices.
- Use monitoring tools to support software reliability and operational effectiveness.
- Lead complex assignments or teams, guide and coach colleagues, and influence stakeholders across functions.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and contribute to policies, procedures, and governance activities.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Agile development, CI/CD automation, and automated testing frameworks.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices.
- Proven experience with infrastructure as code tools including CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Exposure to React or other modern UI frameworks is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
