Responsibilities
- Lead responses to escalated cyber security alerts, incidents, investigations, and complex attack patterns.
- Monitor and detect compromises, vulnerabilities, network security threats, and emerging threat actor tactics.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance security controls including alerts, rules, policies, and signatures.
- Develop and deploy AI agents, LLM prompts, workflows, APIs, integrations, and automation for SOC use cases.
- Implement safeguards for secure and responsible AI usage and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
- Write production-ready code and collaborate with security, engineering, and platform teams.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to special projects.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on programming or scripting experience with technologies such as Python, Java, or Shell.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- 4+ years of experience building or supporting automation solutions such as SOAR or GitHub.
- 4+ years of experience with security technologies or SOC/security operations.
- Hands-on development experience with AI, GenAI, or LLM-based solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with security telemetry including logs, alerts, endpoint, network, and cloud data.
- 5+ years of exposure to SIEM platforms or detection engineering concepts.
