Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a high-performance, responsive Progressive Web App.
- Implement offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, and scalable front-end architecture.
- Deliver reliable experiences across devices and low-connectivity environments.
- Own features from ideation and design review through implementation, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design durable abstractions and improve large, complex, and legacy codebases.
- Balance performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence through clean code, strong testing, and disciplined engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and focus on high-impact engineering problems.
Requirements
- 8+ years building scalable, user-facing software.
- 4+ years of deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in large, evolving codebases.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSX, and modern HTML/CSS.
- Automated testing experience, including Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing.
- Clear, professional written communication in an async-first environment.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, domain modeling, and design patterns.
- A mentorship mindset and ability to elevate other engineers.
- Preferred: strongly typed TypeScript across hooks and components and experience with React Query or similar API integration libraries.
- Preferred: mobile app development experience with Capacitor, Cordova, or React Native.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
