Senior Software Engineer- Backend

- Design and develop simple, scalable solutions for complex product challenges.
- Deliver quality code for complex projects in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Analyze, investigate, and troubleshoot intricate web-based product features and issues.
- Contribute to automated tools that improve team efficiency.
- Create and improve system documentation for customers integrating with Tripadvisor products.
- Participate in rotating on-call duty for network connectivity and product support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of programming experience.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for complex systems.
- Proficiency with the Linux platform and standard utilities.
- Ability to construct complex SQL queries.
- Solid understanding of HTTP and other internet protocols.
- Deep familiarity with Java.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
