Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology, vision, and roadmap to executives, technical contributors, prospects, and customers.
- Work hands-on throughout the sales cycle, from demonstrations and proofs of concept through solution design and implementation.
- Understand customer needs, solve customer-specific business problems, and communicate the value of Snowflake’s solutions.
- Create and develop technical champions within customer accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake effectively.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
- Build joint architectures, support account strategies, and represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
Requirements
- Experience in sales engineering or solution architecture in a SaaS environment, or relevant experience in analytics, data science, data engineering, or a related industry.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Understanding of and experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake’s solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Python.
- Preferred: experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Preferred: experience with data science and machine learning technology.
