Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions across requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Write maintainable code and participate in code reviews that improve engineering quality.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and implement lasting fixes to improve reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and engineers to understand customer needs and deliver solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members on software practices, system design tradeoffs, and effective use of generative AI tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
