Base Salary
$121k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, application development, model development, and implementation of new or revised application systems.
- Manage and monitor application development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business process issues, evaluate industry standards, and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop security measures and conduct post-implementation analysis to ensure system functionality and successful business usage.
- Consult with users, clients, technology groups, vendors, and clearinghouse representatives on application issues and solutions.
- Define operating standards and processes, assess technology risk, and support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advisor, and coach to senior stakeholders and lower-level analysts.
- Design and build highly resilient, scalable, and observable cloud-native services and systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of application development and leadership experience in the financial services domain.
- Hands-on experience with full-stack Java and Oracle.
- Experience solving performance issues involving databases, ingestion, and exposure flows.
- Good understanding of CI/CD processes, Scrum, and JIRA.
- Expertise in cloud-native development principles and practices, including resilient, scalable, and observable service and system design.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills with internal teams, external vendors, and clearinghouse representatives.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their use in day-to-day development tasks.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project-management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
