Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deliver, and operate software for Amazon’s global inventory management systems.
- Build scalable, reliable, cloud-based distributed systems that track, reserve, and reconcile inventory in real time.
- Participate in scoping, architecture, coding, code reviews, testing, and delivery of highly visible projects.
- Collaborate with customers, associates, and teammates while proactively taking ownership of technical work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience and programming experience in at least one software language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
