Responsibilities
- Take full lifecycle responsibility for critical IMS components from design and engineering through deployment and operation.
- Operate and support IMS-MRF on Kubernetes, OneiDNS cloud-native DNS services, and VMware-based VoIP support systems.
- Help develop a new AI Calling system on the CaaS Kubernetes platform for real-time speech processing and translation in IMS call flows.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and use infrastructure-as-code, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting practices.
- Perform structured troubleshooting, root cause analysis, testing, validation, and performance optimization for real-time telecommunications systems.
Requirements
- Good experience with cloud-native technologies and containerized environments, with strong proficiency in containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with IMS architectures and call flows, including CSCFs, AS, and MRF.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI.
- Good knowledge of Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with real-time systems and performance optimization in telecommunications environments.
- Familiarity with testing and validation frameworks for cloud-native applications.
- Experience using tools including Wireshark, sngrep, kubectl, Helm, Artifactory, Terraform, AWX, FluxCD, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Jira, and Confluence.
- Understanding German is optional; experience with AI/ML integration in telecommunications, real-time speech processing, or Deutsche Telekom’s CaaS Kubernetes platform is preferred.
