Base Salary
$146k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable GenAI applications, AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, vector search solutions, and multimodal AI integrations.
- Develop Python-based microservices and APIs and lead automation framework design for production-grade solutions.
- Embed risk, control, governance, regulatory, and compliance mechanisms directly into GenAI workflows through control-as-code practices.
- Design feature engineering and data pipelines, establish feedback loops, and support continuous system improvement.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, observability, monitoring, performance, testing, and responsible AI practices.
- Collaborate with Risk, Security, Governance, engineering, and product teams while providing technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 8–10+ years of software engineering experience and 5+ years of AI/ML or GenAI engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with LangChain or similar frameworks.
- Experience building LLM-based applications using RAG and prompt engineering.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Experience with MLOps/DataOps pipelines, observability, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with vector databases, modern AI architectures, LLM evaluation, guardrails, AI safety, AI governance, model risk, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Experience implementing risk, control, or compliance requirements in technical systems.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to deliver robust, well-tested, production-ready solutions and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
