Responsibilities
- Design, build, and oversee implementation of system-wide security software systems and blueprints for IT systems, applications, and data protection across on-premise and hybrid environments.
- Lead threat modeling sessions to identify, categorize, and prioritize threats to software systems.
- Make key technology and integration decisions for cybersecurity.
- Architect and champion Zero Trust frameworks, including advanced Identity and Access Management and micro-segmentation.
- Ensure architectural designs meet regulatory requirements, industry mandates, and applicable security standards.
- Act as the primary cybersecurity subject matter expert, provide technical guidance to Security Engineers, and mentor junior architectural talent.
- Govern technical and system solution designs with stakeholders and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience, including at least 7 years specifically in cybersecurity and security architecture.
- Extensive experience in IT, information security, and software security.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, application security, and systems integration.
- Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture, Cloud Security, and Identity and Access Management.
- Experience interacting with SOC/Cyberdefence functions.
- Knowledge of defense-domain cybersecurity constraints, including NATO or national regulations and accreditation processes.
- Knowledge of OS and database hardening, IAM solutions, PKI, firewalls, proxies, WAF, hypervisors, containers, DCS, and Information Exchange Gateway solutions.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISSP-ISSAP, or similar are preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, research, writing, teamwork, independence, and adaptability skills.
- Very good English skills.
