Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build intuitive frontend interfaces, robust backend services, REST APIs, and intelligent middleware across the full stack.
- Develop and maintain agent orchestration and execution systems that route between AI models, context systems, and user-facing surfaces.
- Define interfaces between foundational systems and compose them into integrated customer experiences.
- Plan implementation, estimate effort, and drive phased rollouts across systems and operations.
- Prototype rapidly, validate hypotheses with customers, and iterate on product experiences.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, design reviews, and hands-on coaching.
- Own service reliability, performance, and security; lead on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and systemic improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
