Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee system design, testing, CI/CD, release pipelines, and deployment activities.
- Design and implement application frameworks, platforms, and common reusable functionality.
- Lead technical evaluations of vendor platforms and collaborate with vendor and internal delivery teams.
- Define and enforce engineering, coding, implementation, testing, and DevOps standards.
- Make architectural and technical decisions supporting scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Create architecture and high-level design documentation and drive solution approval.
- Provide technical guidance on challenging issues and lead technology innovation.
- Lead automation, deployment, and monitoring efforts for efficient, high-quality releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of development experience and five years in a senior engineering role.
- Approximately five years of experience within financial services.
- Strong experience leading full-stack development.
- Understanding of DevOps pipelines, containerization, test automation, and automated deployment.
- Understanding of Agile principles.
- Experience with end-to-end application technology stacks, cloud architecture, and application security.
- Risk, compliance, and audit domain knowledge is a plus.
