Base Salary
$160k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, design, and develop software features for Windows-on-Snapdragon products.
- Support product bring-up, issue triage, debugging, and resolution of issues on Qualcomm chipsets.
- Develop and debug Windows kernel software, device drivers, and embedded SoC systems.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to unblock issues and drive tasks to completion.
- Participate as a key member of an Agile Scrum team across the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a master's degree with 3+ years; or a PhD with 2+ years.
- At least 2 years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience with embedded Windows software, Windows kernel debugging and development, operating system concepts, and ARM or other SoC embedded-system debugging.
- Strong C/C++, shell scripting, or Python skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Windows OS internals, device-driver programming and debugging, WinDbg, JTAG, processor architecture, cache subsystems, system BIOS, UEFI, ACPI, ARM assembly, QEMU modeling and debugging, and OS performance profiling and optimization.
