Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance web-based interfaces for creating, managing, reviewing, and controlling real-time graphics.
- Partner with graphics and production teams using Viz Engine and Unreal Engine to understand workflows and deliver reliable production tools.
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services, sports data providers, APIs, and real-time communication technologies.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, prototyping, development, testing, QA, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot live-production issues, improve workflows, and collaborate with technical and production stakeholders.
- Build scalable and maintainable solutions for evolving sports and enterprise production needs.
Requirements
- Experience developing modern web applications with React, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience integrating applications with APIs and real-time communication technologies such as REST, gRPC, or WebSockets.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or JetBrains Rider and source control workflows using GitHub or comparable tools.
- Working knowledge of Go, Bash, or Python scripting.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with Agile development practices.
- Ability to develop and troubleshoot across Mac/Linux and Windows environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners in production-focused environments.
- Preferred experience includes Google Gemini, Vertex AI, ChatGPT, Anthropic, Jira, MongoDB, Redis, C#, Java, C++, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Argo CD, Viz Engine, Unreal Engine, Fonn Saga, Avid iNEWS, or broadcast, newsroom, sports, and live-show production environments.
