Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Build cloud landing zones on GCP and Azure, including networking, identity foundations, governance, observability, security guardrails, and compliance controls.
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for cloud provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CloudBees.
- Implement cloud governance, security, compliance, monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting solutions.
- Execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including environment creation, application onboarding, validation, stabilization, and lifecycle management.
- Develop automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy and apply GitOps, configuration control, and policy-driven automation.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes container platforms including GKE and AKS.
- Support monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, platform reliability, source control, documentation, runbooks, and peer reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, application teams, cloud stakeholders, and cybersecurity teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
- Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, and support performance and process optimization as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, storage, IAM, and platform security.
- Proven experience implementing cloud landing zones across GCP and Azure.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AKS, or GKE, including workload deployment and scaling.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
- Understanding of RBAC, least privilege, MFA/SSO, IAM policies, security, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Experience with cloud migration, modernization, infrastructure migration, lifecycle upgrades, and environment cutovers.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions for automated infrastructure and application delivery.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration experience, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, filesystem management, and OS-level diagnostics.
- Preferred qualifications include Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification, Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert certification, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification, HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar is preferred.
