Responsibilities
- Analyze client business processes and translate business needs into Python-based solutions for consulting workstreams.
- Develop scripts, applications, backend services, APIs, and automation routines for data handling, reporting, and workflow execution.
- Collaborate with client service teams to gather requirements, refine technical approaches, and align deliverables with project objectives.
- Interpret complex datasets to identify patterns, support problem solving, and inform recommendations.
- Troubleshoot code, optimize performance, and maintain reusable components across engagements.
- Apply software development, version control, and testing practices to maintain reliable code.
- Support the design and delivery of technology-enabled solutions that improve operating models, data use, and business performance.
- Review technical work, share development approaches, and guide junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience required.
- Strong Python development skills and hands-on backend experience.
- Experience building backend services and REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Understanding of backend architecture, authentication, error handling, API integrations, and SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Working knowledge of React or Angular, with backend expertise prioritized.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, automated deployments, cloud platforms such as Azure, containers, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience integrating LLMs/GenAI APIs or AI-enabled applications.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required.
- Preferred qualifications include management consulting experience, analytical problem solving, data interpretation, ambiguity management, client relationship building, and mentoring junior team members.
