Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Harness, and related delivery technologies.
- Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes platforms, including EKS and OpenShift.
- Develop Python, Bash, and Shell automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Implement Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for consistent environment provisioning.
- Monitor platform health, performance, reliability, logging, and alerting with enterprise observability tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, application, and deployment issues across distributed environments.
- Improve platform security, scalability, resiliency, operational readiness, and deployment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to streamline software deployment and release processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Six to ten years of relevant experience, as indicated by the job title.
- Strong experience administering Linux systems and supporting enterprise networking environments.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
- Expertise building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, or comparable tools.
- Experience managing Docker containers and Kubernetes environments, including EKS and OpenShift.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices using enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
- Preferred qualifications include financial services or retirement technology experience, cloud security and compliance knowledge, application performance monitoring experience, site reliability engineering concepts, cloud-native deployment knowledge, and relevant AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications.
