Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement deep learning architectures for ADAS perception systems.
- Maintain, improve, and optimize existing perception models and algorithms.
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues and develop sustainable solutions.
- Optimize models for latency, efficiency, and resource utilization in real-time embedded deployments.
- Integrate and validate deep learning algorithms on automotive-grade hardware and embedded SoCs.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data annotation, and platform engineering teams on data flow and model integration.
- Provide management with updates and technical reports on model development, maintenance, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing, training, validating, and deploying deep learning perception models for ADAS or related computer vision applications.
- Advanced degree in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and understanding of software design principles and development best practices.
- Expertise with PyTorch or TensorFlow for large-scale model development and experimentation.
- Experience with data pipelines, distributed training, and machine learning experiment management tools.
- Understanding of training and inference pipelines, including data loading, augmentation, and loss function design.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Understanding of classification, regression, and clustering algorithms is preferred.
- Experience with embedded or automotive SoCs, including NVIDIA Drive, TI TDA4, or Qualcomm Snapdragon, is preferred.
- Experience with quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation is preferred.
- Ph.D. in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong Python and/or C++ programming experience in Linux environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive perception workflows, datasets, and evaluation frameworks such as KITTI, Waymo, and Euro NCAP is preferred.
