Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines on Databricks.
- Develop production-grade Python and Spark solutions using secure coding, software engineering, and code review practices.
- Implement MLOps capabilities including MLflow, model versioning, lifecycle management, reproducibility, and deployment governance.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, packaging, deployment, and environment management.
- Monitor production models and data pipelines for performance, data quality, model drift, latency, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, product, security, governance, and risk stakeholders.
- Apply security, risk, compliance, documentation, traceability, and audit controls for AI services.
- Optimize Databricks workloads, develop reusable ML engineering components, and share best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering machine learning or analytics solutions across data disciplines.
- Hands-on experience operating Databricks or comparable lakehouse platforms, including runtime upgrades, workspace administration, and access controls.
- Experience implementing MLOps practices across the model lifecycle, including CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, and reproducibility.
- Experience working with security, risk, and governance teams to evidence controls for data and AI services.
- Hands-on experience with Python packaging, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization or serving patterns where applicable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with data scientists, data engineers, product teams, and risk stakeholders.
