Responsibilities

  • Define and drive technical architecture across Education, Commerce, Industrial, and Compliance business domains.
  • Lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives from design through delivery as an independent contributor.
  • Create system context diagrams, architecture diagrams, data flows, database schemas, sequence diagrams, API contracts, technical specifications, and other architecture artifacts.
  • Define bounded contexts, integration patterns, software design patterns, architectural standards, and guardrails for distributed and enterprise systems.
  • Own non-functional requirements covering scalability, performance, security, reliability, compliance, extensibility, latency, fault tolerance, data residency, and auditability.
  • Develop PoCs, prototypes, sample implementations, and high-quality code to validate architectural decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain Architecture Decision Records and implementation-ready technical documentation.
  • Review and approve technical designs, code, and pull requests for architectural compliance and engineering quality.
  • Define reusable solutions for authentication, authorization, audit logging, multi-tenancy, and other cross-cutting concerns.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, engineering leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate APIs, data models, cloud infrastructure, integration strategies, AI/ML tools, LLMs, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and AI agents for enterprise use.
  • Provide technical guidance for intelligent search, automation pipelines, and AI-enabled product capabilities across multiple technology environments.

Requirements

  • 12–15 years of overall IT experience with substantial experience in technical architecture and enterprise application design.
  • Proven experience designing complex SaaS, B2B product ecosystems, and enterprise platforms.
  • Expert-level hands-on development experience in at least one of .NET, Java, or PHP.
  • Deep understanding of software design patterns, enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, distributed systems, Domain-Driven Design, and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, clean code practices, REST API design, and enterprise integrations.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC, event-driven architecture, and communication patterns between distributed systems.
  • Experience designing relational, document, and graph data models, database schemas, data flows, and integration models.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud architecture and scalable, secure, highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
  • Ability to create UML diagrams, C4 models, sequence diagrams, system context diagrams, API specifications, technical specifications, and Architecture Decision Records.
  • Strong understanding of non-functional requirements, authentication, authorization, multi-tenancy, auditability, data residency, fault tolerance, data governance, and architecture governance.
  • Ability to independently drive large-scale architectural initiatives from inception to delivery and develop working PoCs, prototypes, and sample implementations.
  • Experience reviewing code and ensuring engineering quality and architectural consistency.
  • AI/ML architecture, LLMs, AI agents, Generative AI, vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, intelligent automation, cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, or multi-tenant SaaS architecture are good-to-have qualifications.
  • Experience across Education, Commerce, Industrial, or Compliance domains is advantageous.
