Responsibilities
- Build and architect agentic platform capabilities, including tools, planning and execution loops, orchestration, evaluation, and safety guardrails.
- Develop AI-powered product features using LLMs, vector stores, and agentic workflows for security signal analysis and customer outcomes.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting agentic workflows and platform capabilities.
- Own medium-to-large features end to end across design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and production iteration.
- Use and advocate for AI-assisted development practices, coding tools, automation, and documentation to improve engineering efficiency.
- Design and optimize evaluations for agentic systems, including tools, prompts, and agent loops.
- Apply security-by-design and responsible AI principles while improving threat detection and response capabilities.
- Mentor and coach engineers, lead by example, improve engineering quality, and contribute to incident response and team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of production software development experience using modern programming languages.
- Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered agentic systems in production with ownership of quality, reliability, and iteration.
- Expertise in LLM and generative AI application development, prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, or Agent SDKs.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows, including GitHub Copilot, Copilot Workspace, agentic plugins, agents, skills, and hooks.
- Familiarity with multi-step reasoning, tool or function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including systems design, performance, debugging, data structures, testing, and problem-solving.
- Experience designing, running, and optimizing evaluations for agentic systems.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with cloud services or AI systems and experience shipping AI features in production.
- Preferred: experience designing RESTful APIs or GraphQL services and working with SQL or NoSQL database technologies.
- Preferred: demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and experience delivering large-scale production systems.
