Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure microservice applications and REST APIs on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Develop and integrate LLM-based features, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and tool or function calling.
- Own software delivery from requirements through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Apply secure coding practices across APIs, identity, secrets, and vulnerability remediation.
- Write automated unit, integration, and functional tests and contribute to CI/CD and monitoring.
Requirements
- At least two years of professional software engineering experience delivering production code in Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- At least one year of experience developing microservices, REST APIs, or cloud applications on a public cloud platform such as AWS.
- Hands-on experience developing or deploying containerized applications in Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience building applications with generative AI or large language models, including RAG, embeddings, or tool and function calling.
- A bachelor’s degree plus five years of related experience, a master’s degree plus three years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; experience with AI applications, AI agents, vector databases, RAG pipelines, LLM APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Model Context Protocol, AI security, guardrails, responsible AI, or AI governance.
