Base Salary
$149k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews.
- Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews.
- Mentor engineers and help them grow.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to solve technical challenges.
- Improve engineering processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Build services that meet high standards for availability and latency.
- Work with the latest open source technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience building complex software in a team environment.
- Deep skill in driving technical solutions across multiple teams.
- Backend service experience in languages like C#, Java, Scala, or Go.
- Strong experience with databases, especially SQL and Cassandra.
- Experience building cloud architecture in Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience designing high-availability, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Ability to write maintainable code for backend microservices.
- Interest in setting technical and organizational direction for a growing team.
- Experience leveraging agentic AI in day-to-day work.
