Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.
- Build and manage robust cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for reliable delivery of digital solutions.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and implement infrastructure as code.
- Support Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and GitOps-based deployment models.
- Develop scripting and automation solutions and use configuration management tools where appropriate.
- Implement monitoring and observability practices using relevant enterprise tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and related teams on requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, knowledge sharing, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and supervise a team when applicable, including allocating work and coordinating resources, or act as a technical advisor as an individual contributor.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab and Maven.
- Knowledge of Helm charts and GitOps-based deployment models.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Ansible is valued.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or Go are valued.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as ESaaS, Observe, or Grafana is valued.
- Understanding of how to build secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise platforms.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, resolve problems, communicate complex information, manage risk, and collaborate across functions.
