Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, estimate, and develop software applications for multiple State Street initiatives.
- Create technical project plans and deliverables and monitor task deadlines.
- Provide technical expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving complex issues.
- Resolve, communicate, and escalate critical technical issues.
- Prepare user and systems documentation and recommend industry best practices.
- Coordinate activities among business analysts, scrum leads, developers, and managers as a technical design lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive IT experience in any occupation or title.
- Proven ability to work in a team of agile developers and provide daily agile status notes.
- Experience delivering complex, deadline-driven projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability with PL/SQL, Perl, scripting languages, and other open source technologies.
- Experience with SWIFT message flows MT-527, MT-558, MT-596, MT-54X, and MT20X.
- End-to-end understanding of software architecture, design, development, and implementation.
- Experience with continuous integration, build processes, test automation, and deployment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience writing and reviewing technology documents, including user guides.
