Responsibilities
- Drive the enterprise automation transformation strategy, adoption plan, and roadmap.
- Own the Automation Platform Service within the Quality Engineering practice.
- Design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade TOSCA automation frameworks and custom utilities.
- Define automation best practices, folder structures, naming conventions, and governance standards.
- Integrate TOSCA with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
- Provide subject matter expertise in TOSCA Commander, Distributed Execution (DEX), and Test Data Management (TDM).
- Lead complex automation projects across SAP, web, and API applications.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and manage small in-house and partner technical resources.
- Use performance metrics, process management, compliance controls, and continuous improvement practices to support operational excellence.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an Automation Architect using TOSCA in large enterprise systems, including SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Strong SAP automation knowledge, particularly with S/4HANA and Fiori.
- Understanding of enterprise integrations, including middleware handshakes, batch jobs, and APIs connecting SAP with other systems.
- Experience with TOSCA DEX, API automation, service virtualization, and custom TOSCA extensions.
- Scripting experience in C# or Java.
- Valid TOSCA certifications such as AS1, AS2, AE1, or TDS1.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, B.Tech, or a related field.
- Experience leading teams, coaching and mentoring, managing performance through service-level agreements and metrics, and working in global shared-services environments.
- Experience with customer relationship management, compliance, audits, controls, problem solving, and operating effectively in changing environments.
