Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform architecture.
  • Oversee enterprise-scale software engineering, cloud architecture, and product innovation projects.
  • Manage client relationships, provide strategic cloud engineering and data analytics guidance, and drive executive-level architectural decisions.
  • Design complex integrations involving APIs, messaging, workflows, and event-driven services.
  • Develop infrastructure as code, multi-project landing zones, cloud governance, FinOps, and performance engineering solutions.
  • Architect GenAI and agentic systems using Vertex AI, Gemini, RAG pipelines, and Vector Search.
  • Apply microservices, serverless, distributed systems, and event-driven design patterns.
  • Use Java, Python, and C++ to develop scalable applications and conduct code reviews.
  • Promote CI/CD and ATDD practices while ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Lead business development, mentor and coach leaders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
  • At least 17 years of experience in IT architecture or software engineering.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience in architecture design and implementation.
  • Expertise in GCP Architecture Framework pillars, enterprise-scale cloud architecture programs, cross-service integrations, Infrastructure as Code, FinOps, landing zones, application security, identity management, and cloud governance.
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI and agentic architectures, Vertex AI, Gemini, RAG pipelines, and Vector Search.
  • Deep experience with microservices, serverless patterns, distributed systems, and event-driven design.
  • Proficiency in ATDD and CI/CD practices and knowledge of Agile methodology and practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, client management, and executive-relations skills.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required.
