Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable mobile software with long-term stability and maintainability.
- Build and ship production-grade Flutter features used by millions of users.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver customer-facing mobile features.
- Develop and maintain shared tooling, frameworks, and libraries for mobile development.
- Measure and improve app performance, responsiveness, reliability, startup time, crash rate, and responsiveness through observability, profiling, and debugging.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while using AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and testing.
- Apply current Flutter best practices, mobile architecture patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
- Stay current with AI/LLM advances and share relevant insights with the team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years of production experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, widget lifecycle, rendering, and advanced state management techniques such as Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, and MobX.
- Experience integrating and optimizing RESTful APIs and communicating with scalable backend systems.
- Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and frame drops across iOS and Android.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and mobile application testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with cross-platform optimization, native iOS and Android integrations, and reducing app size.
- Strong debugging, profiling, and mobile performance metric fundamentals.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.
- Passion for building polished, performant, and reliable mobile experiences at scale.
