Responsibilities
- Build and maintain security automation tools for CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with engineering teams to design secure architectures and workflows.
- Act as a trusted advisor for development teams on security issues.
- Deliver training on secure coding practices to empower teams.
- Deploy and operationalize static, dynamic, and dependency scanning tools.
- Lead vulnerability management efforts to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Create tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance vulnerability detection.
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge security solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, Go, or C#.
- Strong experience with CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control.
- In-depth understanding of vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with security tools like Snyk or Semgrep.
- Ability to communicate technical security concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in integrating security with development processes.
- Experience performing secure code reviews and interpreting SAST/DAST results.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Contributions to or leadership in open-source security tools.
- Relevant certifications are preferred.
