Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert for one or more DTCC applications.
- Work with Business Systems Analysts to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
- Partner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
- Tune application performance to reduce and eliminate issues.
- Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC technology standards.
- Design software components and individual programs and participate in construction and functional testing.
- Support development teams with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Create applications and unit test cases that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved ways of working.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
- Coach others and build collaborative teams across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Technical expertise in software development methodologies, tools, programming languages, application design, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Ability to collaborate with business partners, architects, product managers, project management, end users, infrastructure teams, and external clients.
- Ability to stay current in the relevant specialist area and communicate openly across the organization.
